Who we are
Remindster is operated by Valid Solutions AB, a company incorporated in Sweden. References to "we", "us", or "our" in this policy refer to Valid Solutions AB. You may contact us at info@remindster.io.
What data we collect
When you create an account we collect your name and email address. When you use Remindster we collect data you actively provide: workspaces, reminders, documents, and contact records you create. We also collect standard technical data such as IP addresses, browser type, and usage logs for security and operational purposes.
How we use your data
We use your data solely to provide and improve the Remindster service — including sending reminder notifications, managing your subscription, and responding to support requests. We do not sell your personal data to third parties or use it for advertising.
Legal basis for processing (GDPR)
For users in the European Economic Area, we process personal data on the following bases: performance of a contract (providing the service you subscribed to), legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, service improvement), and your consent where applicable. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us.
Data storage and security
Your data is stored on servers in the European Union. Documents you upload are stored in Cloudflare R2 object storage with server-side encryption at rest and TLS in transit. We maintain reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, but no system is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Data retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain it for a longer period. You may request deletion of your data at any time by emailing info@remindster.io.
Your rights under GDPR
If you are located in the EEA you have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; request correction of inaccurate data; request erasure of your data; object to or restrict processing; receive your data in a portable format; and lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority. Third-party services
We use the following sub-processors to provide the service: Stripe (payment processing, US), Cloudflare (storage and CDN, global), Amazon Web Services (email delivery, US), and Hetzner (server infrastructure, EU). Each sub-processor is bound by data processing agreements consistent with GDPR requirements.
Sensitive data and compliance disclaimer
Remindster is a general-purpose reminder and document management service. We do not represent that the service is compliant with sector-specific regulations such as HIPAA (US health data), PCI-DSS (payment card data), or similar frameworks. You are solely responsible for ensuring that any data you upload complies with applicable laws and regulations governing that data. We strongly advise against storing data that is subject to sector-specific regulatory requirements without first conducting your own compliance review.
Cookies
We use only strictly necessary session cookies required to operate the service. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. No cookie consent banner is shown because we do not set non-essential cookies.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes we will notify you by email or by a prominent notice in the service. The date at the top of this page reflects when the policy was last updated. Continued use of Remindster after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
