1. Agreement to these terms
By creating an account or using Remindster you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These terms form a legally binding agreement between you and Valid Solutions AB, a company incorporated in Sweden ("we", "us", "our").
2. Description of the service
Remindster is a cloud-based reminder and document management service that allows users to create workspaces, set reminders, manage contacts, and store documents. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time with reasonable notice where possible.
3. Accounts and eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Remindster. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must promptly notify us at info@remindster.io if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Remindster to: (a) violate any applicable law or regulation; (b) upload content you do not have the right to share; (c) transmit malware, spam, or other harmful code; (d) attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service or its infrastructure; (e) use the service to store data subject to sector-specific regulatory requirements (such as HIPAA or PCI-DSS) without first ensuring your own compliance with those requirements.
5. Subscriptions and billing
Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. All fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Failure to pay may result in downgrade to the free plan or suspension of your account. Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your payment card details.
6. Your content
You retain ownership of all content you upload to Remindster. By uploading content you grant us a limited licence to store, process, and transmit that content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you. We do not claim any ownership rights over your content and will not use it for any other purpose. You are solely responsible for ensuring that the content you upload complies with all applicable laws.
7. Data and privacy
Our collection and use of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy at remindster.io/privacy. By using the service you agree to our Privacy Policy.
8. Third-party integrations
Remindster may allow you to connect third-party services such as Google Drive. Your use of those integrations is subject to the third party's own terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the content, availability, or practices of any third-party service.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Valid Solutions AB and its officers, employees, and contractors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use the service. Our total aggregate liability to you for any claims arising under these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Valid Solutions AB and its officers, employees, and contractors from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the service, your content, or your violation of these terms.
12. Termination
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these terms, with or without notice. Upon termination your right to use the service ceases immediately. We will delete your data within 30 days of account deletion except where we are required by law to retain it.
13. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sweden. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of the service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sweden. If you are a consumer in the EU you may also have rights under the laws of your country of residence.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes we will notify you by email or by a prominent notice in the service at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the service after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
